We are evaluating security feature of Neuron ESB. Here are a couple of questions:
1. Does client connection support OAuth 1.0 or OAuth2.0 authentication
2. Out client connector uses REST binding, and does NOT use SSL. In this context, what are the following options, in service endpoint > security > security model ?
- Transport:None
- Transport:Basic
- Transport:Digest
- Transport:Ntlm
- Transport:Windows
- Transport:Certificate

With REST today, you can use certificates, username password and ntlm I believe. Once you select the Security Model, the other drop downs will become available. if you want to use certs, username, ntlm, etc...you have to create Credentials that represent them in the Security section of the Neuron Explorer.
You can use OAuth, but currently you have to implement that support via a custom business Process. We are planning on shipping native oAuth support in the UI in our CU 4 release expected end of December, early January
Thx for your prompt reply. Actually, the first part of my question was: what is the differences of:
- Transport:None vs None
- Transport:Basic vs HttpBasic
- Transport:Digest vs HttpDigest
- Transport:Ntlm vs HttpNtlm
- Transport:Windows vs HttpWindows
Understand your reply about OAuth. We don't have further query on this topic yet.
