The Service Bus for the Connected Business

we have a service endpoint going out to a REST POST webapi.

if some of the property are not setup correctly in the request, the api will return a 422 error. However, we can't really see what the api is complaining about.

if i were to mimic the request and run it via PostMan, it will give me the "message" so i know what properties are missing/wrong.

so is there a way we can see the content of the error message in Neuron?

thanks,

Jeff,

There are a number of ways to view the error information from a service endpoint.

  • You can catch the error in a try catch block and use a c# process step to see what the response from the service was.
  • You can look in the log files for the specific service endpoint (located in <install directory>\logs\<instance name> and review the information contained with in.
  • You can also add the REST code 422 to a list of excluded codes so that it does not throw an error and then check to see if that code is returned from the service using a C# process step. From there you can inspect the message returned from the service and then handle it however you see fit.

If you need additional help, or a demonstration of how to do any of these, please submit a support ticket on the neuron support site (support.neuronesb.com) and I would be happy to schedule a webex session with you.

Hi,We are using the Marketo adapter to push account updates to Marketo. It works well for some time then starts failing with Invalid Token unless restarted. Is there a configuration that can be done so it can auto refresh the token when required? Thanks!See More
