I've been doing some testing with Neuron 3.6.0.920.
I have a solution running on my local machine that I have upgraded from 3.5. I tested and invoked the services using my machine name (localhost is blocked by the firewall) but I get the following error on runtime 3.6
<Fault xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/ws/2005/05/envelope/none"><Fault xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/ws/2005/05/envelope/none"> <Code> <Value>Receiver</Value> <Subcode> <Value xmlns:a="http://schemas.microsoft.com/net/2005/12/windowscommunicationfoundation/dispatcher">a:InternalServiceFault</Value> </Subcode> </Code> <Reason> <Text xml:lang="da-DK">The current service instance for the 'https://dk-udlan3-hp840.kamstrup.dk/api/v1/customers/0451770I?domain=D045' url could not be found </Text> </Reason> <Detail> <ExceptionDetail xmlns="http://schemas.datacontract.org/2004/07/System.ServiceModel" xmlns:i="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"> <HelpLink i:nil="true"/> <InnerException i:nil="true"/> <Message>The current service instance for the 'https://dk-udlan3-hp840.kamstrup.dk/api/v1/customers/0451770I?domain=D045' url could not be found </Message> <StackTrace>at NeuronEsb.Server.Runner.ESBClientConnector.SetClientConnectorState(Message p1) at NeuronEsb.Server.Runner.ESBClientConnector.ProcessMessage2(Message p1) at SyncInvokeProcessMessage2(Object , Object[] , Object[] ) at System.ServiceModel.Dispatcher.SyncMethodInvoker.Invoke(Object instance, Object[] inputs, Object[]& outputs) at System.ServiceModel.Dispatcher.DispatchOperationRuntime.InvokeBegin(MessageRpc& rpc) at System.ServiceModel.Dispatcher.ImmutableDispatchRuntime.ProcessMessage5(MessageRpc& rpc) at System.ServiceModel.Dispatcher.ImmutableDispatchRuntime.ProcessMessage11(MessageRpc& rpc) at System.ServiceModel.Dispatcher.MessageRpc.Process(Boolean isOperationContextSet) </StackTrace> <Type>System.Exception</Type> </ExceptionDetail> </Detail></Fault>
Any suggestion? Should I change anything in the Endpoint hosts configuration or somewhere else?
Thanks

it looks like the machine can't resolve the domain address. what happens when you try to access that url in the browser?
same error.
The ping works.
any idea on this? Do you think it can be due to some setup on my machine?
3.5 worked fine.
I still had no luck with this.
It seems it might be related to the local firewall but at the moment I can't verify. I have tried disabling it but nothing change.
I cannot connect to the local instance using the "override" option but only through ws-discovery.
I get the exception "Cannot load configuration from net.tcp://<machine_name>:<port>. NeuronESB was unable to connect to the ESB Bootstrap Service at..."
Using localhost (and only from the browser) the service replies correctly; using the machine name it fails with the exception reported above.
Should I open any port or any other idea?
This is solved with the latest build 3.6.0.945
