Hi everyone,
I have noticed that when a subscriber to a RabbitMQ topic is disabled (and Neuron automatically disables the associated ServiceEndpoint if available), messages are still dispatched to it, even though not only it is disabled, but also when the condition on the subscriber does not match the message..
Is this a desired behavior or am I configuring something wrong?
I'm running 3.5.4.1091 on dev machine, but it also happens with 1017 in production
Thank you very much
Fabrizio

so if a subscriber is disabled, messages are still sent to the underlying queue that represents the subscriber. that is by design. The condition is actually evaluated by the party once it picks up the message from the queue...
Hi Marty,
ok, I understand.
I have two subscribers on the same topic, and I would like only one active in prod (haven't fully tested the other one..), and I'm deploying the full solution. I haven't tried yet, but could I keep the subscriber enabled and disable the linked endpoint/adapter? Would that do it?
Thanks
Fabrizio
