Scheduled Polling in process with DB Table Query?

Hi,

I have a basic question on what the best approach would be to create a mechanism to poll a database table (1 min, intervals) that publishes to a topic. Can this be done in a publisher process or would it need to be more involved via a workflow?

Is there a reason why the ODBC Adapter in Publish mode won't work?  You can configure it to call a stored procedure.

Ah. That could work, I'm not clear though how to set it up so that the stored procedure could be called on 1 minute intervals? I'm connecting to a SQL Server db, so assuming I should use the SQL Adapter?

The SQL Server adapter has been deprecated, so use the ODBC adapter.  Set-up the adapter endpoint in publish mode, and in the publish properties you give it the name of the stored proc to call.  There is a polling interval in seconds, set that to 60.
