Hello guys,
I need some help understanding what is causing this error
This is logged in the Event Log from the MessageAudit, Configuration and Management services.
There are not failed messages audited and I am not notified by any client about errors... I have no idea what could cause the problem
Event Info: Management Service
Exception: The socket connection was aborted. This could be caused by an error processing your message or a receive timeout being exceeded by the remote host, or an underlying network resource issue. Local socket timeout was '10675199.02:48:05.4775807'.
Inner Exception: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host
Method: HandleReceiveAsyncCompleted
Stack: at System.Runtime.AsyncResult.End[TAsyncResult](IAsyncResult result)
at System.ServiceModel.Channels.TransportDuplexSessionChannel.EndTryReceive(IAsyncResult result, Message& message)
at System.ServiceModel.Dispatcher.DuplexChannelBinder.EndTryReceive(IAsyncResult result, RequestContext& requestContext)
at System.ServiceModel.Dispatcher.ErrorHandlingReceiver.EndTryReceive(IAsyncResult result, RequestContext& requestContext)
at System.ServiceModel.Channels.SocketConnection.HandleReceiveAsyncCompleted()
at System.ServiceModel.Channels.SocketConnection.OnReceiveAsync(Object sender, SocketAsyncEventArgs eventArgs)
I have looked for any suggestion online and it seems like a very generic error from WCF, that could be related to mulitple issue such as performance and message size....
Have you ever experienced it? Do you have any suggestion?
Thank you
Fabrizio

It seems to be related to the client using the ClientAPI.
The subscriber is not affected, but the log is full of the errors.
Have I configured something wrong? Any idea what it could be related?
Guys,
sorry to bother again, but have anyone some idea about this error?
If you could take a look at the attached file, it's logged more than 100 times in few minutes in the DMZ instance, and it happens more times a day.
Although it does not seems to cause any issue, I still find quite hard to isolate real errors from these.
Thank you
F.
