Unable to connect to Neuron server

We have two Newuron Servers on a different subnet.  Both servers have the Firewall disabled.  Neuron Explorer connects fine from one server to the other.  However, any attempt to connect to the server from my subnet fails.  The discovery however, is successful.  If you look at the error message, it may seem like a Networking issue, but that is not the case, because I did a port scan from my machine and port 50000 is open.  Besides, both servers connect to each other fine.  I have a feeling that manually entered credentials are not getting passed to the server.  I read another post, and based upon the recommendation, switched the Neuron service to run as local system instead of with a specified credential, to no avail.
