Neuron ESB User Network

The Service Bus for the Connected Business

Trying to load my loacl Neuron and getting the following error message ...

Cannot load ESB Configuration - Could not create the temp file necessary to load the configuration. The file exists.

Anybody know what the file name I need to delete is?

You might need to delete the files in the %TMP% directory. Open Windows Explorer and type "%TMP%" in the address bar. This will navigate you to the temporary directory. Then you can try deleting files. This will typically be C:\Users\username\AppData\Local\Temp.

If you are running ESBService under a different user account or as LocalSystem, the temp directory may be for a different path. You should see a user directory for that user that you'll need to navigate into.

I cleared my temp file and tried starting up and received the same error message.  I checked the service account and the TMP folder there is empty.  Here is the complete entry from the Neuron Event Log:

Event Info: Neuron ESB Service failed to start

Exception: Cannot load ESB Configuration - Could not create the temp file necessary to load the configuration. The file exists.

Inner Exception: The file exists.

Method: WinIOError

Stack:    at Neuron.Esb.Internal.ESBMetabase.LoadConfigurationFromFile(String filename, List`1 issues, Boolean importing)    at Neuron.Esb.ESBMasterService.e()    at Neuron.Esb.ESBMasterService.Start(String instanceName, String environment, String zone, String[] args)

at System.IO.__Error.WinIOError(Int32 errorCode, String maybeFullPath)    at System.IO.Path.InternalGetTempFileName(Boolean checkHost)    at Neuron.Esb.Internal.ESBMetabase.LoadConfigurationFromFile(String filename, List`1 issues, Boolean importing)

can you check to see what location your %TEMP% environmental variable is pointing to?

I cleared out my Wndows/Temp folder overnight, quite a few entries, and Neuron came up OK this morning, thanks.

Marketo Adapter Invalid Token

Hi,We are using the Marketo adapter to push account updates to Marketo. It works well for some time then starts failing with Invalid Token unless restarted. Is there a configuration that can be done so it can auto refresh the token when required? Thanks!See More
