The Service Bus for the Connected Business

How should the service connector tab of the service endpoint be configured in order to invoke a service that implements username/password configuration?

I'have accomplished the authentication through an additional HTTP "Authorization" header, basically copying the authentication string from SoapUI.

Is this the only way or is it possible to configure it through the security tab within Neuron ?

Thank you very much

Fabrizio

First, you will need to create a credential in the Security section in ESB Explorer.  Click on Security->Credentials.  Click the New button.  Verify the Type is Username/Password, and then enter the credentials and give them a descriptive name.  Click Apply.

Next, on the Service Endpoint, go to the security tab and select HttpBasic from the Security Model drop-down.  Then navigate to the Service Connector tab.  You will see that you can now select the previously defined security credential from the Client Credentials drop-down list.

Thanks Joe.

Does it work only with BasicHttp? Can't I use it with REST binding, the dropdown is disabled?

What build are you using?  It's definitely enabled in the later 3.5.4 builds.

It's 3.5.4.885, it wasn't public (maybe I should upgrade to a public one.. I'm experiencing a strange behavior with RabbitMq as well..) but they do not seem to be enabled

Here are the screenshots.

Did you set the security model on the Security tab of the service endpoint?

Marketo Adapter Invalid Token

Hi,We are using the Marketo adapter to push account updates to Marketo. It works well for some time then starts failing with Invalid Token unless restarted. Is there a configuration that can be done so it can auto refresh the token when required? Thanks!See More
