File adapter binding

Hi,

I am using a file adapter to write a file to disk. I can bind a credential to the adapter and it works. However, I cannot find a way to bind username and password to the file adapter like CRM adapter and others. I have gone through file adapter documentation and could not find any information there.

Any advice will be very much appreciated.

because you cannot.  the file system isn't something you "send" credentials to. However, if you want the adapter to run under specific credentials to access a file share, you can configure the Run As property of the adapter endpoint with a credential
