Hi,
We are working on a new integration with Salesforce which is to receive notifications from SF to Neuron and then process it.
I am using the salesforce adapter in publish mode for this but when I specify the outbound notification url as https it fails to start with this error -
Event Info: Adapter Endpoint 'SalesforceNotificationsEndpoint' reporting information.
The Outbound Notification Service failed to start
Url: https://testapi.xxx/SalesforceNotifications
Exception: The provided URI scheme 'https' is invalid; expected 'http'.
Parameter name: context.ListenUriBaseAddress
Method: .ctor
Stack: at System.ServiceModel.Channels.TransportChannelListener..ctor(TransportBindingElement bindingElement, BindingContext context, MessageEncoderFactory defaultMessageEncoderFactory, HostNameComparisonMode hostNameComparisonMode)
at System.ServiceModel.Channels.HttpChannelListener..ctor(HttpTransportBindingElement bindingElement, BindingContext context)
at System.ServiceModel.Channels.HttpChannelListener`1..ctor(HttpTransportBindingElement bindingElement, BindingContext context)
We have been able to host regular service endpoints using https but this adapter is faulting.
Any pointers would be helpful.
We are on Neuron 3.5.4.1130
Thanks.

Hi there.....it looks like currently we only support HTTP, not HTTPS with the adapter. We could build this into the adapter in the next few weeks though. until then, you can configure a client connector to receive the outbound event from salesforce
Currently, I am working around this with the client connector.
Let me know when this gets in the build.
Thanks!
